Friends, my name is Dave Griffith, and I love the desert, trees, rocks, ghost towns, antiques and everything in between! A second generation Californian from Pasadena CA, I love exploring the desert, crystal hunting, gold panning, the Blue Angels. I create beautiful sculptures and candles from my many journeys around this fabulous country. A piece of history is in every piece I create.
I use many different mediums, such antique square nails, wood, glass, rocks and Native American beads collected from my grandfather on his travels during the turn of the 20th century. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style and what is left is an original "Griff" sculpture. My inspiration is everything that combines nature with old relics from the past. Every rock, twisted wood branch, old bead and square nail has a history.
